5 Star Bed & Breakfast (B&B) Bude – Cornwall

“Everything you could wish for from a B&B!
This was our second visit to the delightful Pot and Barrel with its wonderful host Chris and, undoubtedly, it will not be our last. The location is perfect with wonderful views, easy access to the beach, town centre and coastal walks. Accommodation is comfortable and the food delicious. We particularly enjoy the walk along the Bude canal especially as there is a pub at the other end where we enjoy a drink and even a game of table tennis before wandering back to Bude. The Pot and Barrel is right at the top of our list of favourite B&B’s.”
B and Bs applying for AA recognition are visited by one of the AA’s inspectors as a mystery guest, who then check for everything from the accommodation and food to the levels of hospitality. A Bed and Breakfast is a private house run by the owner, with accommodation for no more than six paying guests. The ratings are awarded annually.
