Guests can enjoy a selection of premium beverages, including a pot of Twinings English Breakfast Tea or a choice of other teas and herbal infusions, as well as a cafetière of coffee, with decaffeinated options available for both.
The breakfast begins with a selection of chilled juices, such as 100% squeezed orange juice and locally pressed North Devon apple juice. For a refreshing touch, a carafe of iced water is also served.
The cereal bar offers a choice of four varieties, accompanied by chilled Rodda’s Cornish whole milk brought to the table. A fresh fruit bowl and creamy Greek-style yogurt, which can be paired with honey or fruits, provide lighter, nutritious options.
For a heartier start, guests can select from a range of dishes. The Full Cornish breakfast includes Cornish free-range eggs (cooked to preference), grilled back bacon, pork sausage, special fried bread, baked beans, grilled tomato, and mushrooms.
Additional highlights include smoked haddock with poached eggs, avocado on toast with poached eggs and roasted cherry tomatoes, and slivers of smoked salmon with creamy scrambled eggs on buttered toast.
For a continental twist, there is the Cornish Continental, featuring local cheeses, herring rollmops, and smoked gammon served with Cornish wafers. Guests can also indulge in freshly baked croissants, toast with West Country butter, and a variety of marmalades, jams, Marmite, or Nutella.
